FAET is a whimsipunk band born from the creative force of multi-instrumentalist Mandy James and drummer-vocalist Lebb O Nidus. Originally from South Africa and now based in Wales, they use evocative lyrics, dreamlike compositions, thunderous percussion, and gritty backing vocals to create music that channels both softness and strength.

Their songs explore mental health, Celtic folklore, and personal transformation, inviting listeners to find beauty in the dark and magic in the mundane. Live, the band either plays as a duo or expands to include sessionists like András Droppa and Jay Barry, creating a full and immersive sound that’s both dreamy and defiant.
